Flutterby Designs DT - Happy Days

Hello!!

Today I have a monochromatic layout to share for FLUTTERBY DESIGNS featuring the Blank Palette range.

'Happy Days' Layout

I love this photo of my darling son just chilling in front of the tv. He is such a sweet natured, funny and clever kid.

I used the 'Bright Like A Diamond' stencil and a black journalling pen to add some interest to my white background. Something a bit different to my usual backgrounds!

I have layered some of the photo cards under my photo and fussy cut the polaroid frame from a photo card also.

Did I mention that I LOVE fussy cutting? There are two types of crafters in this world I reckon; those that love fussy cutting and those that don't. I myself find it relaxing so I love finding titles and images to fussy cut from the photo cards as I have done here.

I added a scattering of the 'Circles' Wood Veneer and coloured them black using a black Posca Paint Pen.

I finished by adding a flair button and some Sticky Quick Quotes and a little bit of washi tape from my own stash.

Imaginarium Designs DT - Last Post

The title and corner chipboard pieces were painted with a couple of coats of white gesso first. Then I used a ruler to add gold Posca Pen to the bottom portions of the pieces.

I have kept it simple for this layout by painting all of the pieces with white gesso.

Flutterby Designs DT - Create Art

Hey Flutterby peeps!!

Today I have a big, bold and bright layout to share for Flutterby Designs featuring the totally awesome Flawsome range.

'Create Art'

I began my layout by adding some Flutter Colour paint directly to my background kraft cardstock and swiping it with a folded over bit of cardstock. Once dry I added some patterned detail using the 'Bubble O' Fun' and 'On the Plus Side' Stencil. I stencilled on some words too using the 'Words of Wisdom' Stencil and a black journalling pen.

I added lots of layers under my photo using some Everyday Etc Filler Photo Cards, Page Tabs, embroidery thread and some chipboard from my own stash.

I painted my chipboard pieces using the gorgeous Grape Soda paint. Love that colour! Plus it is such a luscious paint that it covers the chipboard really well.

I added some sticky quotes and enamel dots too for extra interest.
