Scrapping Clearly DT - Happy

 Hello Scrapping Clearly fans!!

It's Belinda here today to share my latest project featuring awesome goodies from the Scrapping Clearly store.

To start this layout, I cropped a sheet of the fabulous Marshmallow heavy weight cardstock and mounted onto a sheet of Studio Calico 2 Seven Paper. I spritzed the page with a little water followed by Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Navy. I sprayed the Colour Shine directly onto a Vicki Boutin stencil and stamped the stencil onto the page too.

Next I created a paper stack using patterned paper and tags from the Teresa Collins Urban Market collection.

I added some stamping to the background using the Darkroom Door Number Medley Stamps Set with Cobalt Archival Ink. I used my paper stack as a guide so that I knew where to add the stamping.

I added my paper and photo stack to the layout along with a torn piece of the Heidi Swapp 6"x6" Die Cut Papers and half a frame from the Urban Market Chipboard Elements. I stamped a few cute hearts too using a Heidi Swapp Mini Stamp and the same Cobalt ink.

I finished by adding the title fussy cut from Urban Market patterned paper, stickers, chipboard elements and sequins.

The Dusty Attic DT - Happy

 Hello Dusty Attic fans!!

It's Belinda here today to share my latest layout inspired by the June Mood Board challenge and featuring some fabulous Dusty Attic chipboard.

"Happy"

Here's a reminder of the stunning mood board for this month. Aren't the colours just so pretty?!

I started my layout by adding some stencilling to the background paper using the XOXO and Confetti # 2 Stencils.

Next I added a piece of gorgeous printed vellum followed by the Fancy Frame # 4. I painted the frame with three coats of white gesso and then added some shimmery texture paste on top. I layered on some patterned papers in the mood board colours followed by a photo of my darling daughter.

I fussy cut some flowers from patterned paper and added those along with the Small Tea Leaves that I altered to match the frame.

Lastly I added all of my embellishments and title. The title, mini tab and word arrow were all painted with three coats of heavy gesso while the Mini Heart Button was painted to match the frame and tea leaves.

Bee Arty DT - Moments Like These

 Hello Bee Arty fans!

It's Belinda with you today to share my latest layout for Bee Arty featuring the stunning NEW Embrace Change Collection by Fiona Paltridge.

I started this layout by cropping a sheet of patterned paper from the Embrace Change collection and adding it to some of the fabulous 350gsm white cardstock. I spritzed on some Love Colour Spray, spritzed with a little water and played around with it, letting it drip down the page, until I was happy with the coverage. I dried it off with a heat gun.

Next I used the brand new Rosewood Colour Paste with the Cascading Leaves A5 Stencil from the Embrace Change collection and then dried with the heat gun again letting the paste bubble a little for extra texture.

I added some stamping using Ranger Archival Ink  and the Say It and Watermark Stamps

Next I added my paper layers cropped from patterned papers in the Embrace Change Collection along with die cuts using the Web, Old Leaves and String Wreath Dies. I added some fussy cut leaves and flowers that I coloured using Life of Colour Watercolour Pens and Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.

Finally I added my title and remaining embellishments.

Next I added some stencilling using the Starry Night Stencil and some Colour Blast Colour Paste in Bling.

I added paper doilies and then layered on patterned paper and raw chipboard as well as my photo.

I painted some chipboard pieces with a few coats of heavy white gesso and added those to complete my layout.

Scrapping Clearly DT - Happy

 Hello Scrapping Clearly fans!

It's Belinda here today with a layout to share inspired by the June Mood Board and featuring lots of gorgeous products from the Scrapping Clearly store.

Here's a peek at the mood board.
I recently ordered this absolutely gorgeous 12 x 12 The Crafters Workshop Zinnia stencil from the store and was keen to have a play with it so I knew it would feature on my layout somehow. Here I was testing it in my art journal by spraying Polished Jade Dylusions Ink Spray over it on one side and then flipping it over and printing it on the other page.

To start my layout, I cropped and mounted some heavy weight Marshmallow cardstock onto a sheet of patterned paper from the Vicki Boutin Storyteller range. I then spritzed the cardstock with water and dropped in some Jane Davenport Siren Mermaid Marker. I manipulated the colour on the layout and created a circular design. Next I placed the Zinnia stencil in an art journal and sprayed the Polished Jade Ink Spray over it. I flipped the stencil over onto the layout and printed the design onto the page. I flicked some of the Mermaid Marker and the Ink Spray over the page too.

I chopped up some more papers from the Storyteller range and layered them together along with Storyteller embellishments, paper doilies and Heidi Swapp die cut papers and a doily. I used a Heidi Swapp Mini Stamp and Library Green Archival Ink to add some stamping to the background.

I added some die cut leaves from an Art By Marlene Die Cuts book, a Kaisercraft flower, Storyteller Chipboard Stickers, my title and photo.

Here's what I used:

- Doilies

KAISERCRAFT Handmade flowers

JANE DAVENPORT Mermaid Marker Siren

RANGER Dylusions Ink Spray Polished Jade

Bee Arty DT - Beautiful

 Hello Bee Arty fans!!

It's Belinda here with you today to share my layout inspired by the Jun Sketch Challenge and featuring the stunning NEW Embrace Change collection by Fiona Paltridge.

I was so excited to play with this new range and I am totally in love with it. I started my layout by cropping a piece of the awesome 350gsm heavy white cardstock and mounting on a sheet of patterned paper from the range.
I mixed up a solution of Candy and Midnight Colour Shimmer Dusts with water and painted onto the layout after spritzing with water. I flicked some of the colour over the page too and then set aside to dry.

Next I added some stencilling with the Rhythm A5 Stencil and the NEW Rosewood Colour Paste.

I chopped up a few of the patterned papers from the Embrace Change Collection as well as the Fearless Brave and Free range to create lots of layers as per the fabulous sketch for this month. I added a flap of white cardstock with photos on the front that lifts up to reveal more photos underneath. I used a stamp from the Embrace Change Say It Stamp Set with Jet Black Archival Ink to add some more interest to the background.

Here's a reminder of the awesome sketch:

Here you can see the photos under the flap.

Next I fussy cut a whole lot of gorgeous images from the patterned paper and arranged in two clusters on the layout. I added the title and a quote cut from the Poetry patterned paper from the range.

I finished by adding some journaling under the flap about what an awesome kid this girl of mine is.
