Kraft + DT - Right Here

Hello!!

Have you spied the awesome challenge at KRAFT PLUS CHALLENGES for December??

Check this out.

It is time to get those travel photos and maps out for this month's December Challenge.

Wanderlust

Kraft + Travel + Maps

Cool!!!

Now normally we don't get the chance to travel anywhere except to the shops. We live on a farm and have tooo many animals to care for not to mention plant cuttings that need constant attention.

However in August this year, we went on a one day whirlwind trip to Sydney to visit Taronga Zoo. It was the most fun we have had in a long time and completely out of our comfort zone. And in typical fashion both kids came down with high temperatures that very morning. We went anyway loaded up with Panadol and a thermometer and neither of them complained one little bit about not feeling the best. So proud of them.

"Right Here" Layout

My daughter was so excited to see the Harbour Bridge from the window of the plane as we were flying in that I had to take a photo of it. That is the photo you see on my layout.

I have used some map patterned paper under my photo to fit the challenge. I also stamped the Darkroom Door World Map Background Stamp onto some tissue paper and added this onto my CHARM'S CREATIONS Chevron and Map Marker embellishments using gel medium.

I also used lots of DARKROOM DOOR stamps from the Sydney Vol. 1 Rubber Stamp Set.

This was such a fun layout to create. I do hope you get a chance to play along this month too. Head over to the blog HERE to check out all of the inspiration as well as the rules of play.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Kaisercraft DT - My Year, My Story

Hi papercrafters!!

Today I have a layout for KAISERCRAFT to share with you using the fun and funky My Year, My Story Collection.

My Year, My Story is so bright and happy and fun with some really funky embellishments as well as eye-catching papers. I just love the little cactus images!

Not only is this range perfect for decorating the journal planners, but can also be easily suited to layouts and cards.

“You Are My Sunshine” Layout

Lots of gorgeous yellow with a twist of lime. I sprayed the white paper doilies with some Kaisermist in Yellow and Lime Green and included amongst the many layers of co-ordinating papers.

This combination of colours worked perfectly with the dandelion tiara my daughter had made for herself in the photo. Who remembers doing that as a kid? Fun, right? I think I might put that on the list of things to do in the school holidays along with getting some Pine Lime Splices! :-)

Kaisercraft materials: P2000 Cactus | P2001 Shine | P2005 All Sorts | PP986 Paper Pad | SS302 Sticker Sheet | CT845 Collectables | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | CD165 Kaisercard Splice | DD704 Decorative Die Hello | DD725 Decorative Die Card Creations – Butterflies Cardfront – C6 | FL301 Wood Flourishes Leaves | EM405 Paper Doilies White | LDB1053 Lucky Dip Wooden Shapes Butterfly | KM103 Kaisermist Yellow | KM104 Kaisermist Lime Green.

Kaisercraft DT - Planning Ahead

Hello!!

Have you seen the brand new Journal Planners from KAISERCRAFT yet??

They are gorgeous!! And they come in three different colours; black, blush and breeze.

Check them out over HERE.

I couldn’t wait to start decorating my gorgeous new Journal Planner in readiness for the new year. I got myself the beautiful Breeze colour journal.

How gorgeous is that colour?

I have used the new My Year My Story Collection to decorate my planner and I decided to concentrate on one colour per month starting with my very favourite mint colour.

I started by altering the first divider page. The dividers all have the loveliest quotes on them so I made sure I decorated around the quote. :-)

I just adore that stunning new release Mint Glitter Tape so not only did I reinforce the edges of all of my pages with it, but I also created some die cut embellishments.

See that cute little star above? Well it was so easy to make and you will see lots of glitter embellishments scattered throughout my journal. I simply took a piece of scrap cardstock and covered it with the glitter tape carefully so that no gaps were showing. Then I ran it through my Big Shot with different dies to spread the glitter love all through my journal.

Here are a couple more pages.

How sweet is that wood veneer butterfly? It’s from the awesome new release Lucky Dip range.

Here’s a closer look.

And a few more pages.

I pretty much used up every single scrap of minty goodness in my stash!

I wonder what colour story I will use for February. Hmmm. Maybe some sunshiny yellow.

Kaisercraft materials: P1998 Minty | P2004 Good & Bad | P2006 To Do | PP986 Paper Pad | SS301 Sticker Sheet – Months | SS302 Sticker Sheet | CT845 Collectables | CS245 Clear Stamps | CD102 Kaisercard Licorice | CD163 Kaisercard Spearmint | PT228 Glitter Tape – Mint | CS159 Clear Stamp Polaroid | CS205 Clear Stamp Shine Bright | CS787 Clear Stamp Date | DD125 Decorative Die Bicycle | DD733 Decorative Die Months | DD347 Decorative Die Numbers | DD531 Decorative Die Nesting Stars | DD517 Decorative Die Tag Shapes | DD701 Decorative Die 6×4″ & 3×4″ Rectangles | DD704 Decorative Die Hello | LDB1053 Lucky Dip Wooden Shapes Butterfly | LDB1055 Lucky Dip Wooden Shapes Flower | EM925 Paper Tags & Shapes Raw | SA053 Journal Planner – Breeze.

Kaisercraft DT - Sail Away Collection

Ahoy there mateys!!

It's time to get all nautical with the stunning new Sail Away Collection from KAISERCRAFT.

I have to say as much as I love the Provincial Collection that I featured yesterday, this one is my favourite this month. I just love the ocean and anything beach related is an absolute winner with me.

I have focussed mainly on the shades of blue papers as well as the woodgrain to create three layouts to share with you. There are also some stunning red images and papers in the collection as well as awesome collectables.

For my first layout I wanted to create the look of the waves breaking on the beach using the papers.

‘Explore’ Layout

Simply using torn strips of patterned paper layered from dark to light, I have created the look of waves. It is so easy to create this look with all of the papers in different shades of blue.

Here’s a closer look.

I have added some sweet collectables in amongst the waves as well as the stamped and fussy cut compass and some sequins from my stash.

Kaisercraft materials: P1980 Ship | P1981 Compass | P1986 Starfish | PP985 Paper Pad | SS300 Sticker Sheet | CS244 Clear Stamp | CT844 Collectables | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | CD187 Kaisercard Pebble | IP719 Ink Pad Black | IP723 Ink Pad Vintage | IP726 Ink Pad Island | IP727 Ink Pad Lagoon.

Other: sequins.

‘Hello Adventure’ Layout

It’s no secret that I have a ‘flat layout phobia’. Not that there is anything wrong with a flat layout. It’s just that I love layers and dimension and this layout just goes to prove that. It is super layered and dimensional using lots of Kaisercraft Foam Tape between the layers. I have used the fabulous Compass Specialty Paper on this one too.

Check out all of those layers!

Kaisercraft materials: PS435 Compass Specialty Paper | P1980 Ship | P1988 Map | SS300 Sticker Sheet | CT844 Collectables | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | DD730 Card Creations Anchor Cardfront | DD108 Decorative Die Geo Tags | DD704 Decorative Die Hello | DD705 Decorative Die Swirl Flourish | FL303 Wood Flourishes Vines | FL393 Wood Flourishes CloudsIP719 Ink Pad Black | IP726 Ink Pad Island | T303 Foam Tape.

‘Beach Beauty’ Layout

I have a ‘thing’ for wood grain paper so I had to use the stunning Lighthouse paper as the background for this layout. I added some more texture to it by swiping some texture paste over the wave shapes on the Nautical Quarters Template.

used the Anchors Embossing Folder to emboss some vellum to add to the layers below my photo and that cute little anchor was left over from my last layout from when I die-cut the Anchor Cardfront Decorative Die.

Kaisercraft materials: P1983 Nautical | P1984 Lighthouse | P1988 Nautical | SS300 Sticker Sheet | CT844 Collectables | CS244 Clear Stamps | PP985 Paper Pad | EF231 Embossing Folder Anchors | DD730 Card Creations Anchor Cardfront C6 | T627 12×12 Template Nautical Quarters | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | IP719 Ink Pad Black | IP724 Ink Pad Bark | KM101 Kaisermist Charcoal | T303 Foam Tape | DD701 Decorative Die 6×4″ & 3×4″ Rectangles | DD704 Decorative Die Hello.

Other: texture paste | vellum | sequins | Posca Pen.

Well that is all from me today. I hope I have inspired you to create some layers and dimension on your layouts with some stunning Kaisercraft product.

Thanks so much for checking out my Kaisercraft Sail Away creations.

Kaisercraft DT - Provincial Collection

Hello!!

Today I have some projects to share for KAISERCRAFT featuring the stunning Provincial Collection.

The Provincial Collection features some beautifully shabby, rustic style patterns as well as some beautiful soft blues and florals that are just perfect for baby layouts. There are also some wonderful postmark and timepiece images. Something for everyone!

'Hello Baby' Layout

I love this photo of my darling son and I. It was the very first photo of us together on the day he was born and was taken by one of the wonderful midwives in the NICU. So very special.

If you would like to find out how I created that watercolour effect background and how I put my layouts together, make sure you head over to the Kaisercraft blog HERE for a step by step tutorial.

Kaisercraft materials: P1972 Hedge | P1973 Mail | P1974 Hampton | CT843 Collectables | SS299 Sticker Sheet | PP984 Paper Pad | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | CS120 Texture Stamp Lattice | DD517 Decorative Die Tag Shapes | DD700 Decorative Die Alphabet Uppercase | DD704 Decorative Die Hello | DD705 Decorative Die Swirl Flourish | F627 Paper Blooms Coconut | F630 Paper Blooms Iceberg | F644 Mini Paper Blooms Coconut | F647 Mini Paper Blooms Iceberg | T303 Foam Tape | KM101 Kaisermist Charcoal | KM106 Kaisermist Denim.

'Love' Layout

To keep things fair, I thought I had better create a baby Hayley layout also! This time using the whole sheet of that stunning floral paper. How gorgeous is that paper?!!

Kaisercraft materials: P1973 Mail | P1974 Hampton | CT843 Collectables | SS299 Sticker Sheet | CD101 Kaisercard Coconut | CD163 Kaisercard Spearmint | FL440 Wooden Flourishes Hearts | F627 Paper Blooms Coconut | F647 Mini Paper Blooms Iceberg | DD105 Decorative Die Love Hearts | DD108 Decorative Die Geo Tags | DD704 Decorative Die Hello | KM101 Kaisermist Charcoal | KM106 Kaisermist Denim | IP726 Ink Pad Island.

'Happy Mail' Mail Holder

Hmmm. What to do with all that mail I collect from the general store/post office everyday?? I know! A Kaisercraft Mail Holder decorated with Provincial. I live in a rustic old farmhouse so this matches perfectly! :-)

There! With just a few stickers and collectables from the collection as well as some die-cut words I have something pretty to hide all of those nasty window faced envelopes behind.

Charms Creations DT - *Mo*vember Challenge

Hello!!

Today I am sharing my take on the November Challenge at CHARM'S CREATIONS.

But first, take a look at the seriously cool challenge...

Aren't those moustaches cute? I also love the watercolour circles in the inspiration board so that was the starting point for my layout.

'Seriously Fun' Layout

Lots of watercolour circles on my layout! The large ones I created myself using watercolour paints and the small ones were punched from patterned paper.

I used a DIY 'O' from an 'XO' set and altered it using the same watercolour paints that I used to create the circles. I then topped it with a cute wood veneer moustache.

Isn't that the most perfect photo for the challenge?!! LOL This was a photo shoot from last Christmas. I was playing around with my camera trying to learn how to take a photo using the timer function on my camera. It seemed to work. ;-)

You can find the 'XO' sets in the shop HERE.

I hope you get a chance to play along with this fun challenge.

Here's a peek at some other layouts I have created recently for CHARM'S CREATIONS.

'Best Ever Fun' Layout

I used a Mixed Kit that I purchased at a recent release night featuring project life cards, mini crochet doilies, orange mini heart, arrow and terrific tab as well as a cute pineapple clip. I LOVE these project life kits so much. Charm co-ordinates everything perfectly.

'Here in your Happy Place' Layout

This layout also features elements from a recent project life mixed kit. I especially love that cute camera lush lollipop.

Thanks for checking out my creations today. :-)

Cheers
