Darkroom Door DT - Abstract Triangles

Hello Darkroom Door fans!

I am popping in today to share a trio of cards I created for Darkroom Door featuring the NEW RELEASE Abstract Triangles Texture Stamp.

These three cute cacti cards were really simple to make. I simply used a variety of Distress Inks to create some backgrounds on which to add my stamping.

I created a blue/green wash of colour for the card front. Once dry, I stamped it with the Abstract Triangles Texture Stamp using Ranger Seafarer Archival Ink. I dried the ink with a heat gun and then coloured in some random triangles with textas/markers.

I stamped some cacti and pots on the remaining Distress Ink backgrounds using Jet Black Archival Ink, fussy cut them and added to the cards along with some messy thread. I attached the cacti using 3D foam .

To finish I added a small sentiment from the Cacti Stamp Set.

Darkroom Door DT - Ransom Alphabet

 Hi all!

Today I have an art journal spread to share with you created for Darkroom Door and featuring the NEW RELEASE Ransom Alphabet Rubber Stamp Set.

I love these alphabet stamps so much as I have been patiently waiting for another alpha set. My Alphabet Medley Stamp Set is well loved and very well used!! It was time for another one. What I love the most about this alpha set is that it is sooo easy to fussy cut. I love that!

For my project today I have created an art journal spread in the Dina Wakley Media Ledger Journal using the Ransom Alphabet to create a really bold, in your face quote.

I created a messy acrylic paint background on this page and then used the Starry Night Large Stencil and the Circle Set Small Stencil to add a moon and stars.

I painted a head for my cute little moon child. Then I stamped the large butterfly from the Spread Your Wings Stamp Set on some cardstock that I had painted to match the background using Jet Black Archival Ink. I fussy cut the butterfly and cut it in half to add to a little body I had cut out of another background piece.

I added the body and wings to the page and also stencilled on some wildflowers using the Wildflowers Small Stencil.

Next I stamped the quote on smooth white cardstock using the Ransom Alphabet Stamp Set and some Jet Black ink. I added double sided tape to the back and then fussy cut each letter. So easy with the straight edges!! Thank you Darkroom Door!! Then I added them to the page.

I finished with a quote I cut from some Dina Wakley Media Ledger Paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. You can find all of the new releases and much more over HERE.
