Hello Darkroom Door fans!
Today I am sharing a couple of cards I created featuring the fabulous NEW Notepaper Frame Stamp. I have created two simple cards using this stamp but there are so many more things I want to create! I think this stamp is going to feature quite a lot in my journal next year too.
Here's a peek at the stamp:
'Note' Card
1. Cut a piece of smooth white cardstock 13.5cm x 20cm. Fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a another piece of the cardstock 9cm x 12.5cm. Apply the Postcards Texture Stamp all over this piece using Seafarer Archival Ink. Dry with a heat gun to avoid smudging. Apply Old Paper Distress Ink over this piece using an ink blending tool. Ink the edges with the Seafarer ink and then stick this piece down on the card base.
3. Stamp the Notepaper Frame Stamp on another piece of smooth white cardstock using the Seafarer ink. Dry the ink and then apply the Old Paper Distress Ink as before. Add double-sided tape to the back of the piece (especially at the top as this strengthens it for fussy cutting). Cut the whole piece out taking care when fussy cutting the top. Apply Seafarer ink to the edges. Stick this piece down on the cardfront layered over the previous stamped piece.
4. On another piece of smooth white cardstock, stamp a doily from the Doilies Stamp Set using the Seafarer ink. Also stamp a butterfly and quote from the Spread Your Wings Stamp Set using the same ink. Stamp a title (ie. 'NOTE') using the Small Sketched Alphabet Stamp Set and the Seafarer ink. Dry all stamped images with the heat gun before applying the Old Paper ink. Fussy cut all elements, ink the edges with the Seafarer ink and then add to the card front.
Here's another card I created using the same techniques:
'Awesome' Card
