Flutterby Designs DT - Flawsome

Hello Flutterby peeps!

Today I have another layout to share featuring the totally brilliant Flawsome collection.

'Flawsome' Layout

I started with that fabulous 'Flawsome' Stencil that I am totally in love with. I swiped some Golden Light Molding Paste over it with a palette knife and dried with a heat gun. I spritzed some water over the page, diluted some Flutter Colour Paint and applied it to the background with a soft wet paintbrush. I used Flutter Colour Paint in Grape Soda, Raspberry Punch and Tropicana Teal.

I used just one Everyday Etc Filler Photo Card under my photo which co-ordinated perfectly with the paint colours.

I then piled on the wood veneer, die cut bits and bobs, flair button and stickers. Oh and THAT quote from the Everyday Etc Photo Cards. I just love it. Suits me perfectly. LOL

The Scrapbook Store DT - Master Detective 2

Hello!!

Well it's about time I came back to my blog for another share!!

Today I am sharing another layout created for THE SCRAPBOOK STORE featuring the awesome Master Detective collection from Graphic 45.

I really love all the spooky elements in this range so I wanted to really emphasize them on this layout of my little 'monster'. (PS. She's not really a monster!)

And how cute is that stamped skeleton?!! That comes from an older Graphic 45 stamp set which seems to be discontinued now but there are some awesome Tim Holtz ones in the shop that would work just as well. Check out the HALLOWEEN section of the store for all of your spooky requirements. Boo!!

The Scrapbook Store DT - Master Detective 1

Hello!

This month at The Scrapbook Store I am playing with the fabulous Master Detective range from Graphic 45.

For my first layout, I have created a layout featuring a photo of my hubby in disguise with a fake bowler hat and moustache. It just suited the theme I reckon.

Flutterby Designs DT - Stand Out & Just Be

Hello!!

Today I have two layouts to share for FLUTTERBY DESIGNS featuring the fabulous Flawsome collection.

'Stand Out'

For this layout, I wanted to create a rainbow on my background. I began by swiping some Golden Light Molding paste over the brilliant 'Flawsome' stencil. I LOVE this stencil so much and it worked perfectly with the photo of my darling girl. Once the texture paste was dry, I spritzed my page with water, diluted a rainbow of Flutter Colour Paints and added the colour with a soft wet paintbrush. Yep. It's my go to technique. I don't mind using this technique over and over especially when the result is so pretty.

I love this photo of my daughter taken a few years ago now. Such a sassy little thing. The quote "Stand out like a strawberry in a bowl of peas' was just so right for the pic!

I layered a whole bunch of Everyday Etc Filler Photo Cards behind my photo.

I finished by adding a heap of positive words in wood veneer as well as die cuts and cut from the photo cards. Some love hearts from the Bits & Bobs die cuts added another sweet touch.

Next up is a layout featuring a selfie of me. Eek!!

'Just Be'

I have used my very favourite stencil on this one...'Knuckleheads'. I LOVE those skulls!!

This time I used some Charcoal Kaisermist over the texture paste skulls. Then I diluted some of the Grape Soda and Arctic White Flutter Colour paints and flicked the colour over the top.

I cut and pasted lots of quotes from the Flawsome range and from the Sticky Quick Quotes.

I stuck pretty much to a purple, black, white and grey colour scheme using filler photo cards, a page tab and a llittle Kaisercraft glitter cardstock.

Imaginarium Designs DT - August Projects

Hello!

Today I am sharing three projects featuring amazing Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

First up is a layout I created for the August challenge at Kraft Plus Challenges.

'Imagine' Layout

I coloured the twig and the chevrons with a black Posca paint pen.

The freaky peep, leaf, heart and the leftover negative board from the tiny stars were all coloured with a variety of Kaisermists.

Next up is a layout I created in my new favourite A4 size.

'Lazy Days' Layout

This time I have used a white Posca paint pen to colour my chipboard.

I added some pink to some of the chipboard with a Prima chalk ink.

I covered the inner bits of the pie charts with co-ordinating patterned papers.

And my final project is a card I created for my son who turned 11 last month.

For this project, I painted all of the chipboard with three coats of white gesso to contrast with all of the beautiful blue in the patterned papers I used.
