 To celebrate this awesome event, I have created this project using Lindys Stamp Gang Sprays in Opal Sea Oats and Canna Lily Burnt Orange as well as Magicals in Blazing Black, Ramblin' Rose Pink and Steampunk Sepia and Imaginarium Chipboard. 

For my layout I started by spraying my base cardstock with both the Opal Sea Oats and Canna Lily Burnt Orange sprays. I then sprayed on some water to dilute the colours and allow them to wash over the cardstock. This causes them to blend together a little too. I blotted away some of the excess with scrunched up paper towel before sprinkling on the Magicals with my fingers. I then sprayed the layout again to allow the Magicals to do their thing. I love watching the powder turn to liquid with the addition of the water. It's always a lovely surprise to see the end result. 

I dried off my layout with a heat gun and then flicked some water droplets across the layout with my fingers. I also mixed a little of the Maigcals with water and flicked them over the page with a wet paintbrush.

I inked my awesome chipboard title with Jet Black Archival Ink and then sprinkled on the Magicals. I gave it a good spritz with water to let the colours blend and then dried with a heat gun.

The Scrapbook Store DT - Prima Rossibelle 1

Hello!!

This month at THE SCRAPBOOK STORE I am thrilled to be playing with the stunning Prima Rossibelle Collection.

I just love the mix of grunginess with florals and rose gold metallic accents in this collection!

For this layout, I have used the reverse of the Lucky Charm patterned paper which is a lovely soft grey with a small brick wall detail. I used a Prima Brick Wall stencil that I had in my stash to add a little more brick wall detail to my page with Golden Light Molding Paste.

I then added some gorgeous pink colour to co-ordinate with the pretty pink flowers and accents in the ephemera pack. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical in Ramblin' Rose Pink. I absolutely love that colour!

I had a little box of sweet rose gold mini bulldog clips from Typo that I had been saving for the right project. They co-ordinate perfectly with the metallic foil accents in the papers.

What a fabulous way to stash bust!

Here's what I created:

'REMEMBER' Layout

I have used some old October Afternoon papers. I have quite a soft spot for anything October Afternoon. It's a shame it seems to be so hard to come by these days. I fussy cut all the little creatures as well as the tree and flowers from the papers.

I have also used some ribbon, brads and a button.

Oh and that photo of little me is a blast from the past too. ;-)

All of the chipboard is by IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS. I have also altered some CHARM'S CREATIONS DIY embellishments using Kaisermists.

Kraft + DT - September Melon Colour Challenge

'Believe in Your Dreams'

I have used some gorgeous CHARM'S CREATIONS embellishments including a the most perfect melon coloured mini page runner that I have had in my stash for AGES!! I have also used two Cute Clouds that I have altered with Kaisermists.

All of the fabulous chipboard is by IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS. I have given all of the chipboard pieces a couple of coats of heavy white gesso.

I do hope you get a chance to get your melons out and play along!!

This month at THE SCRAPBOOK STORE I am thrilled to be playing with the gorgeous Bo Bunny Butterfly Kisses collection.

It is such a delightful and pretty range perfect for sweet girly layouts. Keep an eye on the gallery as I might just surprise you with a boy layout using this range too just to show how versatile it is. :-)

'Perfect Moment'

I created a lovely watercolour effect background with Peach Kaisermist. I can't rave about these mists enough. They react so perfectly with water to create some really lovely effects.

How pretty is that Petaloo Pink Garden Rosette?? I love it.
