Kaisercraft DT - Silver Bells

Hi!!

Today I have some projects to share with you using the stunning new Silver Bells Collection from KAISERCRAFT.

This is just the prettiest range with lovely soft colours for Christmas and lots of gorgeous baubles and snowflakes. I loved the silver accents and snowflake filled papers in this range and it just happens to be a fussy cutters dream! So many pretty details to fill your pages with.

'Joy' Layout

For my first layout, I stuck to a monochromatic colour scheme using the oh so pretty pinks in the collection. I always feel the need to alter my backgrounds so I swiped some gesso over the gorgeous Geo Tile 12″ x 12″ Template using a palette knife. I just focused on the area where my photo and embellishments would be so that I didn’t obscure all of that pretty paper. My layouts would not feel complete without having some of the amazing Kaisermists sprayed over them and here I have used the pink one. I have also used the awesome clear stamps to add some extra snowflakes to my background with some Berry ink.

Here’s a closer look at the details.

‘Christmas Wishes’ Card

I loved the pink colour scheme so much that I had to create a card in the same monochromatic scheme. I added some detail to the background by stamping lots of pretty little snowflakes and heat embossing with white embossing powder. I added some crackle paint to a wood veneer frame and once dry, added some Pink Kaisermist over the top.

I die-cut some more snowflakes from Coconut Kaisercard using the gorgeous Snowflake Card Flip Decorative Die.

‘Waiting’ Layout

I absolutely love the Wreath Specialty Paper in this collection with its gorgeous pops of colour and glitter against the grey so I used that as a starting point for my layout. I used a black and white photo to co-ordinate with the grey in the papers and embellishments. I took the photo of my daughter after we had put up our Christmas tree one year. She immediately placed herself under the tree to impatiently wait for Santa. :-)

‘Season’s Greetings’ Card

This was my first time playing with a Card Creations Card Flip Die and I was pleasantly surprised at how very easy they are to use. I made sure for the snowflake die that I placed some Kaisercraft Die Release Paper between the die and the cardstock for ease of release and it worked a treat. Not only that but then I had some lovely printed paper snowflakes left over for another project. Winning!

‘A Merry Little Christmas’ Card

This is a card that I created using just the Paper Pad and the Clear Stamps in the collection. I used the most gorgeous soft grey woodgrain paper from the Paper Pad and stamped and heat embossed lots of pretty snowflakes using both white and silver embossing powders. I created more texture by distressing the edges of the layered papers too.

I told you it was the most gorgeous collection. How lovely are the colours??
