Hello!
This month at The Scrapbook Store I am playing with the stunning Prima Lavender Collection.
I have to admit that purple is not my favourite colour to work with but this collection is so super pretty that it was easy. What is not to love about gorgeous florals, butterflies and rose gold elements?
I also had fun experimenting and trialling the new Jane Davenport Violet Syrup Inkredible Ink. The verdict: I LOVED it. I could cretae a lovely watercolour effect on my background with it and the fact that these inks are scented just makes them even more lovely to play with. Check out the whole range over HERE.
'Freeze Frame'
That beautiful Violet Syrup ink matches the papers perfectly! I have created lots of layers under and on top of my photo using the pretty papers and ephemera in the range as well as a butterfly created using a new Darkroom Door stencil and one of my most favourite chipboard pieces from The Dusty Attic.
I coloured that Prima flower using the Violet Syrup Ink too. If it's going to look like a flower it might as well smell like a flower right?
Here's what I used:
- 3" x 4" Journalling Cards
- Ephemera
DARKROOM DOOR Small Stencil Butterflies
THE CRAFTERS WORKSHOP 6" x 6" Stencil Chicken Wire
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Oh and if you would like to find out how I created this layout there will be a step by step tutorial coming soon to The Scrapbook Store blog.
Cheers
Belinda
