Darkroom Door DT - Crazy Enough

Hello Darkroom Door fans!

Today I am sharing three projects created for DARKROOM DOOR using the fabulous BRAND NEW Crazy Enough Quote Stamp.

I love how fun this sentiment is so I have made three very kooky creations inspired by it.

First up I have two cards to share followed by an art journal page.

'Ice Cream Fish' Card

Inspired by the quote, I really let my crazy run wild on this one. I added a fish to an ice cream cone and gave it that extra little bit of crazy by adding a googly eye.

I placed it on a watercolour style background using Distress Oxide ink with the Abstract 07 Abstract Stamp and one from the Watery Washes Set.

TIM HOLTZ Distress oxide:

Next is another card this time with a much more vibrant background created by applying Distress Oxides to a craft sheet, spritzing with water and then swiping the card front through it.

'Crazy Seahorse Plant Pot' Card

I added my kooky googly eye seahorse to a plant pot along with some sea grass.

As the background was so vibrant, I kept all of the stamping to a striking black using Jet Black Archival Ink.

And for my last project, I have created a crazy art journal page.

'Crazy' Art Journal Page

I started this page by adding a gel press print to the kraft paper. I used Darkroom Door stencils along with heavy white gesso to add starts to the background.

I combined some stamps to create a crazy plant, stamped on the quote and added some butterflies.

Cheers
Belinda
